Run the Chesterfield 10K – 10% discount on your entry

Following the success of last year’s race, the Redbrik Foundation Chesterfield 10k is returning for the second year.

The event is designed to be accessible for all and follows a scenic route around the beautiful market town of Chesterfield, starting and finishing in Queens Park.

Building on the success and reputation of the Redbrik Half Marathon, the 2021 10k race saw more than 1,300 runners taking part and raised over £59,000 for the Redbrik Foundation.

With entries due to close at midnight Sunday 2nd October, we are offering a 10% discount for anyone wishing to enter. Please use code RF10% to claim – enjoy the race!

The Redbrik Foundation was established in 2020 to improve the lives of people and communities in Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire by supporting charities in Sheffield and Chesterfield.

The Redbrik Foundation supports Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, Fairplay, St. Luke’s Hospice, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Ashgate Hospice, Paces and Cavendish Cancer Care.

As ever, a number of the Redbrik team have been training hard for the race, with 15 Redbrik runners taking part. Funds raised by the Redbrik team will be donated directly to Ashgate Hospice in memory of our dear colleague Kirstie Snape. In March 2021, Kirstie was sadly diagnosed with cancer and after a brave fight with many highs and lows, she passed away in September this year.

Kirstie had worked for Redbrik since 2014 in various roles before becoming our Operations Manager, taking responsibility for a variety of jobs across the company, including helping to organise the Half  Marathon/10k.

Donations will be made to Ashgate Hospice via the Redbrik Foundation as per the wishes of Kirstie’s family.
