Applications Closed – Marketing Placement Student

We are looking to recruit an exceptionally bright and tenacious placement student, to gain experience in Sales and Marketing as part of their degree.

Redbrik’s placement year offers you the chance to gain an understanding of day to day sales and marketing tasks while contributing towards an evolving brand as it grows its customer base and service offering. For 6 years, Redbrik’s sales and marketing have moved people across North Derbyshire and South Yorkshire helping them find their home, whatever that may mean to them. 

You will be based in our Sheffield City Centre office, working closely with our internal Marketing Team, New Homes Team and our Marketing Agency, HR Media. 

In your 12 month placement with Redbrik, you will spend time in each of our Sales & Lettings branches, getting to know our people and the service they provide as well as understanding the market and its needs. You will be playing an active part in our social media strategy, email campaigns, the quarterly Redbrik Lifestyle Magazine, database engagement and nurturing, Sales and Marketing events, PR, monitoring presence on property portals and the Redbrik brand as a whole.

Applicant Criteria

Drivers licence and own vehicle

Studying a relevant degree and understanding of B2C and B2B marketing is an advantage.

An interest in and ability to research and produce engaging content suitable for various platforms.

A good deal of common sense, etiquette and ability to think on one’s feet.

Strong interpersonal skills; effective communicator at all levels (written and verbal).

A commercial, pro-active and professional approach to work.

Excellent organisational skills, demonstrable examples of multi-tasking and an ability to juggle competing priorities.

Must be self-motivated with high attention to detail.


Salary and Working hours

Salary: £16,000 PA

Working hours: 9 – 5:30 Monday – Friday.

The placement lasts for a minimum of 48 weeks, beginning Summer 2020.
