Your renting journey with Redbrik.

01

Tell us what you’re looking for
Register your rental requirements with Redbrik so our Lettings team understands your preferred areas, budget, property type, timescales and anything else that matters to you. We can then help match you with suitable homes as they become available.

02

Start your property search
Explore homes to rent with Redbrik, considering the location, local amenities, transport links and additional costs such as council tax and utilities. Most rental properties are marketed around six to eight weeks before they’re available to move into, so this is usually the best time to start looking seriously.

03

Book your viewings
Found somewhere you like? Arrange a viewing and, where possible, be flexible with your availability. The rental market can move quickly, so if a property feels right, it’s worth being ready to apply.

04

Make your application
Complete your tenancy application with as much information as possible. We’ll ask for details to help assess affordability and your circumstances, which may include identification, proof of income, employment information, landlord references and Right to Rent documentation where required.

We’ll guide you through what’s needed at each stage.

05

References, approval & tenancy setup
Your application will be presented to the landlord, who will decide whether they would like to proceed. If you’re selected, you’ll usually be asked to pay a holding deposit while referencing and the remaining checks are completed. Once everything is approved, we’ll confirm your move-in date and arrange the tenancy documentation.

06

Pick up the keys
Before moving in, you’ll pay the required rent and any tenancy deposit, complete the final documentation and receive the information you need for your new tenancy. Then it’s time to collect the keys and make your new place feel like home.

"Redbrik have been really helpful and much more responsive than other lettings companies we’ve been with in Sheffield. Our check in was also a lot smoother and informed than other lettings agents."
