The Redbrik Foundation: Pouring our hearts into the local community
The Redbrik Foundation donates £6,900 to local charities across Sheffield & Chesterfield
We are thrilled to be able to kick-start 2026 by announcing that the Redbrik Foundation has made a series of generous donations totalling £6,900 to support organisations across our region to invest in providing mental health, specialist education, and childhood wellness services.
Benefiting from the donations were a range of local schools, charities and community groups across Sheffield and Chesterfield. This included Amber Bee CIC, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, Mossbrook School and The Eden Dora Trust for Children with Encephalitis.
David Cooper, Trustee of the Redbrik Foundation said:
“We’re so proud of the donations that we’ve been able to make. These charities are chosen by our people, for our local people. So it’s a real boost for the entire Redbrik team to start 2026 by giving something back to the organisations that they hold close to their hearts."
Supporting Whirlow Hall Farm Trust
One of the donations was awarded to the Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, a local organisation dedicated to providing immersive experiences and educational support to Sheffield's most vulnerable children.
Ruth Gage, Grants and Communications Manager at the Trust, highlighted the importance of this support: “Everyone at Whirlow would like to extend a huge thank you to the Redbrik Foundation for awarding us a generous grant. The funding will support us to continue running our educational programmes, where we empower young people facing mental health challenges, providing them with support and a sense of belonging.”
What’s next? The road to May 17th, 2026
The news doesn’t stop there. The Redbrik Foundation is already gearing up for its biggest event of the year: the Redbrik Foundation Chesterfield 10K. With over 1,000 entrants already registered for this year’s event on May 17, 2026, all of the funds raised will continue to support local causes.
Every year, the Chesterfield 10K is one of the highlights of our events calendar and is an incredible day for all of the family to get involved with, whether you are running or if you are cheering on your family and friends from the sidelines.
Alongside this year’s 10K, we will also see the return of the 1K Pronto Paints Fun Run, which is a brilliant activity for all of the family to get involved with. Taking place in tandem with the 10K, the Fun Run is open to everyone, including your four-legged friends!
